Hello. It has been awhile since I last posted anything. Thought I would brag about placing second in a ChessCube Pawn Passion tourney. I joined the tourney late in round 2 and won every game I played. The time control was 5 minutes and 29 players participated. I was pleased to win 900 cubits!
There was one game which stood out as noteworthy in this tourney. I discovered a trap in the Modern Defence or in the Kings Indian, East Indian Defence. These two openings are very similar and seem to be easily transposable. There's likely also other fianchetto opening structures where such a mechanism may also exist as well. I will have to keep a look out for other such situations! I played as White and caught black with 6. g4 trapping the Knight on the h3 square. Enjoy!
